Common questions

Is Digit Place really free?
Free to start, with no ads, no hearts and no energy. The method, every lesson, daily review, streak, PAO and your own data export are free forever. Digit Place Plus is optional and adds photo sync, unlimited own places, the competition lab and extra widgets and Watch. See Plus.

How do I cancel or restore Plus?
Cancel in your App Store (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it. To restore on a new device: Me > Settings > Plus > Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. More on the Plus page.

Do I need an account?
No. Sign in only if you want sync between devices or to be ranked on the daily challenge leaderboard.

How do I move to a new phone?
Sign in with the same account on the new phone. Your progress syncs back. My numbers and your own photos never sync: use Settings > Export my data (tick "Include My numbers") on the old phone and import the file on the new one.

Are my saved numbers safe?
Digits in My numbers are encrypted on your device and never leave it. Please do not store card numbers or PINs.

How do I delete my account and data?
Me > Settings > Delete account. It is immediate and permanent. Or email us from the address on your account.

Why is my challenge score "held" or "late"?
Scores far above what is plausible are held for review. A score sent after the challenge window is marked late and not ranked. Email us if you think it is wrong.

The daily reminder does not show up.
Check notifications are allowed for Digit Place in your phone settings, and that a reminder time is set in Me > Settings.

Which languages are supported?
The app interface is English and Azerbaijani. Lessons are in English for now.

Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. Android phones, tablets and foldables with Android 8 or later. Phones are designed for portrait; tablets and unfolded foldables also work in landscape.
